2020 מאי 121 אדריכלות ישראלית | קטגוריית מבנים - 2020 תחרות פרויקט השנה 17 | ramon airport, timna, 2019 Designed and built over seven years, the airport replaces the Eilat domestic airport and the international airport that operated for several years from the Ovda Air Force base. Built from scratch, the project includes all the required operational infrastructure. In all, a uniform design language, based on the desert landscape and the wadis, was implemented - including the terminal, coordination center and two open support structures, located on either side of the terminal, like desert tents canopying a variety of designated buildings.
