Project of the Year 2020 - Unbuilt Category אדריכלותישראלית Architecture of Israel # 121 | May 2020 | 92 מגורים במדבר, נווה זוהר, ים המלח, (בתכנון) 2016 ים המלח - אחד משבעת פלאי תבל, מהווה סביבה מיוחדת המשלבת בין נוף צבעוני ותנאי אקלים קיצוניים. המפגש הייחודי הזה היווה השראה לתכנון קומפלקס המגורים, המציע תמהיל של יחידות דיור בגדלים שבין מטר. הכוונה היא למשוך אוכלוסיות שונות 250-45 שיתרמו להחייאת האזור המבודד יחסית. המערך הפרוש במקביל לים, יוצר חצרות פנימיות המשקיפות אל הים, כאשר קירות הבתים הנושקים זה לזה מהווים חומת הגנה מפני מזג האוויר המידברי. הבית עצמו נמוך ממפלס הכביש כאשר הקרקע המגדירה את מרחבי הפנים, משמשת כחומר מבודד. דניאל אזרד אדריכלים דניאל אזרד, שהם בן חמו (אחראית צוות תכנון: פרויקט), הילה דויד, קרן גבסו, נעמה אריכא 48 סטודיו הדמיות פנים: Desert Residence, Neve Zohar, 2016 (in planning process) The Dead Sea - one of the seven wonders of the world is characterized by colorful landscapes and extreme climatic conditions. Inspired by these, the design offers a residential complex with varied units of 45-250 meters, aiming to attract diverse populations that might help revitalize the isolated place. Located parallel to the sea, the compound overlooks the sea on one side, and encloses internal courtyards on the other. Lower than road level, the land backing the interior is used as insulating material.
