אדריכלות ישראלית - גיליון 122

2020 אוגוסט 122 אדריכלות ישראלית מחווה לאדריכל איטלקי 55 | | CASA SN – Renovated House, Noto, Sicily Synergetic collaboration between the architect, local craftsmen and the owner, have created a flowing modern building at the center of which is an open living room, with exposed concrete beams on one side and on the other – a CNC carved MDF board. A large door framing the garden creates an interesting encounter between industrial minimalism, bare concrete beams and natural green landscape. Within it - separation between the dining corner, sitting area and kitchen is defined by lighting from above. The relaxation corner in the middle storey includes personal objects, most prominent of which is an old Vespa – a nostalgic scooter that together with the Lambretta formed an Italian social symbol from the 60’s to the 80’s. Adding the owner’s perspective to the design, the upper storey master bedroom includes an elegant wooden walk-in closet. Architect: Salvatore Spataro. Photos: Samuele Castiglione.
