The starting point of the Hyperbaric Institute was a single pressure cell that helped treat patients with problematic wounds which wouldn’t otherwise heal. Following research and interdisciplinary experience, the treatment was expanded and it was determined to be necessary to build a four-story building that is now the largest in the country. The ground floor contains two of the largest chambers in the world. The neuropsychological clinic for cognitive and neurological tests is located on the first floor; PTSD and children's treatment clinic (including MRI and CT) is on the second floor and on the third floor are the auditorium and conference rooms with the physiotherapy school (inaugurated in the center in 2015) on the fourth floor.
