דבר העורך כל אחד והנחמה שלו -------------------------------- הנחמה היא אחת המעלות החשובות שהדת - כל דת - מקנה למאמיניה, ויעידו על כך ביטויים של קבלה והשלמה כמו ״אלוהים נתן אלוהים לקח״ (לא עלינו), או בערבית עממית יותר - ״כולו מן אללה״ .אחרי קיץ חם ומעצבן, הבטחות ש״אוי, ואבוי״ ובחירות מעליבות, על ראשינו שוב נושרות טיפות של גשם, ורוח סתיו עלי זהב בכל פיזרה. כל הנרקיסיסטים אספו עלים קיפלו כותרת ובשדותינו עפרוני אומר שירה. נמתין לשמש, אם ירצה השם, השפיות תשוב בחזרה.	2
אורח העונה השתחררות האדריכלות החדשה בפולין -------------------------------- הרפובליקה הפולנית הממוקמת במרכז אירופה, נוסדה לפני כ-1,000 שנה תחת שושלת פיאסט, והגיעה לפריחתה הכלכלית בסוף המאה ה-16 כאחת המדינות העשירות והחזקות ביותר באירופה, בין היתר בשל מעמדה החברתי הגבוה של האוכלוסייה היהודית, שדיוקנות של כמה מעשיריה אף הודפסו על מטבעות הכסף. פולין הייתה המדינה הראשונה באירופה והשנייה בעולם (אחרי ארה״ב) שאישרה חוקה כתובה במאי 1791. אולם זמן קצר לאחר מכן פולין חולקה בכוח על ידי שכנותיה שעשו בה כחפצם: האימפריה הרוסית, אוסטריה, ופרוסיה.	6
פרויקט העונה גגון- מעון לדרי-רחוב -------------------------------- המעון הממוקם ברחוב אליזבת ברגר בשכונת מנשייה, הוא המבנה הראשון שנבנה בארץ מלכתחילה עבור חסרי-בית. הרעיון החברתי המבורך שבמרכזו הזכות הבסיסית לחיות בכבוד, נתמך על ידי קונספט עיצובי שלא היה מבייש מלון חמישה כוכבים, תוך שמירה על פרטיות הדיירים, כבודם העצמי, תוך פיתוח תקווה להחזרתם לחיים נורמטיביים.	36

בית העונה - ממוסקבה לישראל -------------------------------- לנה גורדינה נולדה, למדה ועבדה כאדריכלית במוסקבה. לאחר שסיימה את לימודיה במכון האדריכלי של מוסקבה, עבדה באחד ממשרדי האדריכלות המפורסמים בה, שבו התמקצעה באדריכלות פנים. בשנת 2001 פתחה משרד עצמאי במוסקבה שבו עסקה בעיקר בעיצוב פנים, מחקר וכתיבת מאמרים על העקרונות הרציונליים של עיצוב דירות מודרנית. כיהודייה היא חלמה מנעוריה לעלות לישראל, אך הנסיבות המשפחתיות לא אפשרו לה. היות שאחיה מתגורר באוקראינה, עם פרוץ המלחמה היא הבינה שהגיע הזמן לעלות לישראל. עם הניסיון הרב שצברה כאדריכלית היא פנתה אלינו, התרשמנו מעבודותיה והחלטנו לפרסם שתי דירות שהיא עיצבה לאחרונה במוסקבה.	58
חומר למחשבה חומרים חדשים במציאות מיושנת -------------------------------- חומרי בניין חדשניים נועדו לשפר את יעילותם, ותאימותם הסביבתית של חומרי הבנייה הקיימים; כגון האבן, העץ, ובמיוחד הבטון, שעמידותם הוכחה כיעילה במהלך ההיסטוריה של האדריכלות - כל חומר ויעילותו היחסית, כל חומר ונקודות תורפה שלו. בשנים האחרונות חלה התפתחות עצומה בייצור חומרי בנייה מרוכבים - כאלה העשויים ממספר חומרים, כאשר כל אחד מהם תורם את תכונותיו הייחודיות לחיזוק המבנה, ליכולת הסתגלותו לסביבה, על המסה המבנית של הבניין, על יחסי פנים וחוץ ועל הדרך גם לחזותו הייחודית של המבנה. לעובדה הזאת יש כבר השפעה ניכרת על האדריכלות שתלך ותתעצם בעתיד.	72

new building materials in an anachronistic reality ----------------------------------- Innovative building materials are designed to improve conventional ones' effectiveness, durability and environmental compatibility - materials that have stood the test of time, some of which for hundreds or even thousands of years, such as stone, timber, and especially concrete - each with its structural merits, each with its own vulnerabilities. Ironically, one of the factors that prevents the use of modern materials is anachronistic construction codes, and especially Overall Municipal Spatial Guidelines that are "utilized" by local authorities to deliberately make permit procedure impossible, causing unnecessary waste of thousands of working hours, including unnecessary and non-professional "Checkers" in the licensing departments.	81
Flats of the season From Moscow to Israel ----------------------------------- Lena Gordina was born, studied and worked as an architect in Moscow. Graduating from the Architectural Institute of Moscow, she worked at one of the famous architecture firms in Moscow, where she specialized in interior architecture. In 2001 she opened her independent office in Moscow, where she was mainly engaged in interior architecture, research and writing about the rational principles of modern apartment design.	70

Based on the right to live in dignity, the welcome social idea is backed-up by a design concept that wouldn't shame a five-star hotel; maintaining the tenants’ privacy and giving them a hope of returning to a normative life‏	42
guest of the season‏Unchained Polish Architecture ----------------------------------- The official name of Poland is Rzeczpospolita Polska, meaning 'The Polish Republic'. This fact carried (and still carries) a huge weight in defining the relationship between the regime and the people. Unlike as in a democracy, where the majority (unjustly) lords its will over the minority, in a republic, the law stands above the will of the majority.	32
