דבר העורך לא זכינו באור מן ההפקר ------------------------------------ תחילת פברואר 2023, הארץ רוגשת וסוערת בכל ממד אפשרי. בחוץ אומרים שסוף העולם קרב וכאן, בינינו, נכנס שיגעון ויוצא. אני נזכר ב׳לא זכיתי באור מן ההפקר׳ של ביאליק, ואני מחליט שהפעם לא אכתוב על פוליטיקה שנלעס כבר ממנה, ואגייס את המעט שאני יכול כדי להרגיע את הרוחות, לפני שישרור שוב חושך על פני תהום ורוח אלוהים תשוב ותרחף על פני המים.	2

חומר לעבודה חומרי בידוד והשפעתם על האדריכלות ------------------------------------ אחת הקונוטציות שמתקשרות כמעט אוטומטית לנושא הבידוד היא אירועי מגיפת הקורונה. ולא בכדי: בידוד מרחבי הוא למעשה מהות האדריכלות. כדיסציפלינה שתפקידה להסדיר אינטראקציות במרחב, היא מפרידה, מבודדת ומחברת בין משתמשים שונים במרחב, ביניהם לבין עצמם וביניהם לבין הסביבה. היא עושה זאת באמצות גבולות מוחשיים כגון קירות ומחיצות, וגבולות וירטואליים המתבטאים בעיקר באמצעות מרכיבים עיצוביים, כגון חומרים, צבעים ותאורה טבעית או מלאכותית. לכל הגורמים האלה ישנה השפעה קרדינלית על הנוחות החברתית, האקלימית והאקוסטית המווסתות כולן בעיקר באמצעות בידוד.	20

בית העונה בית משוכתב קציר ------------------------------------ שני אדריכלים צעירים - מיכל ושמרי טוסון רכשו בית בקציר, הממוקם על רכס אמיר מעל ואדי ערה. הבית ששיווע לשיפוץ, היווה עבור המשרד שהיה אז בתחילת דרכו, הזדמנות להתנסות בתכנון מסיבי שיבטא את כישוריהם בארגון מרחב מסקרן. תקציב מינימלי, אילץ אותם להירתם לניהול עצמי של העבודה, תוך השתתפות פעילה בביצוע ותמרון תרגילי חיסכון יצירתיים. כיום בני הזוג חיים בבית עם שלוש ילדותיהם - נושמים ואוהבים את מה שהם יצרו.	40
