It's like hair turning white, or falling out. One day, I am the main and all-capable factor in his project, and the next day there is a scenario where even the guard at the entrance will not recognize me! I personally have a fixed "farewell ritual" from the structure, which involves excitement and sadness. The disengagement from what I have planned is exiting and sad at the same time...I say goodbye to the building, like separating from a mature child who embarks on life. You mentioned space experience as an important factor of planning. What is the difference between the spatial experience of those who visit the building once and those who experience it daily? The building has no soul without the the user's experience, whether it is a permanent user or casual guest. Otherwise the building is no more than an environmental statue or an interesting artistic installation. A one-time experience of the building is like a view of a landscape in a foreign country you visited. You store the experience in your memory where it is faded or deleted over the years. The use of the structure on a daily, regular basis requires much more than that; lingering and interaction in the foyer, gathering around a coffee stall, going up or down between levels. In contrast, a structure that one experiences daily is a living creature with a 'pulse', like a living artery. And I am not only talking about objective variability of light and shadow games, but also in particular, the human needs it fulfills and contains. There are so many ways to interact within a building, as well as between the building and its environment. In this matter, the discovery process plays an important role. And here I go back to your question about the dramatic dimension of the projects: I see myself as a director of ideas that allow experiences and to realize goals through resources and data, with which I try to create an aesthetic work, but never at the expense of its functional practicality.
