מסמך מדיניות שהוכן בשנת
מצביע על קצב השתנות מצוקי החוף, כתוצאה מתנועת המים.
המסמך חוזה עלייה של כשני מטר במפלס הים, התמוטטות מצוק
הכורכר, וכתוצאה מכך - הצפת בתיהם של למעלה משלושה מיליון
תושבים בישראל.
הפרויקט המתמקד בנתניה, מציע להתייחס אל קו החוף כאל מרחב
דינמי מטושטש, המשתנה באופן מתמיד, ובהתאמה לכך, לבסס תכנון
גמיש, המגיב לחוסר הוודאות.
הפרויקט מציע לבטל את המיפוי הגרפי הנהוג, ולאמץ תחתיו את
הציור, המבוסס על דו-שיח בין תיעוד להשלכה, משום שהוא פתוח
לאפשרויות קריאה רבות.

A policy document prepared in 2012 by
the Ministry for the Environment indicates
massive erosion along coastal cliffs. The
forecast is that in the 5 coming decades,
there will be a two meter rise in sea level,
collapsing the limestone cliff, and as a
result - the homes of more than three million
people will be flooded.
Focusing on Netanya, the project suggests
relating to the coastline as a constantly
changing, blurred dynamic line, forming a
flexible space and accordingly, to establish
a new plan that will address uncertainty.
The project proposes to abandon
customary graphical mapping, adopting
instead a painting, based on dialogue
between documentation and projection,
thus remaining open to many possible
interpretations.
